This week, OCCRP, the Government Accountability Project, and 15 other media partners published “Dominica: Passports of the Caribbean,” an investigative project about politicians and other powerful people who purchased Dominica citizenship, which grants holders visa-free travel to the European Union.
Dominica passports — secured for as little as $100,000 — have been acquired by nearly a dozen people who then fled their home countries over criminal charges and convictions.
Thousands of names appear to have not been listed in public records of who has purchased Dominica’s valuable passport.
