India: Courts Widens Scope of MCOCA

The Bombay High Court widened the applicability of stringent Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) on Friday, so that “organized crime" will no longer describe acts that only benefit organized crime financially, but include any actions that lead to any advantages to such crime groups.
