Bulgaria: Prosecutor General Admits Corruption in Prosecutor’s Office

“There is corruption in the Prosecutor’s Office. You know that no more than two or three times a year, but still every year, legal proceedings against a prosecutor are initiated,” was the comment by Bulgaria’s Prosecutor General, Boris Velchev on the report by the US State Department reading that the Bulgarian Prosecutor’s Office continues being one of the most corrupted institutions.
