Armenia: Plane Crash in Congo Registered with Forged Documents

A cargo plane crash in the Republic of the Congokilled all 6 passengers on board and 26 people on the ground. The plane was registered in Armenia. A letter from a flight captain with knowledge of the company said that the plane, along with four others, are owned by a Armenian military figure with suspect credentials. The letter claimed that the plane had been operating illegally for four years with forged documents, and that the flight members were uninsured.
