Selma Mhaoud

Selma joined OCCRP in 2023 as a Middle East and North Africa (MENA) editor. She has worked on multiple investigations, mostly focusing on Syria, Yemen, and the UAE, including Dominica: Passports of the Caribbean and Dubai Unlocked. She also trains OCCRP's MENA journalists and reporters from partner media. She holds a master's degree in Middle East and Mediterranean studies from King's College London.
