Sally Mairs

Sally Mairs is a senior editor, responsible for editing and coordinating investigations from across the organization’s global network. Before joining OCCRP, she spent nearly a decade reporting internationally, primarily for Agence France-Presse. After several years as a Bangkok-based correspondent, where she covered political upheaval across Southeast Asia, she moved to Belgrade to help lead the agency’s Western Balkans coverage as deputy bureau chief. Originally from New York, she began her journalism career in public radio stations in the northeastern United States.
