Marietje Schaake

Marietje Schaake is a nonresident fellow at Stanford University’s Cyber Policy Center and the Institute for Human-Centered AI. She is a columnist for the Financial Times and serves on several nonprofit boards, as well as the United Nations High-Level Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence. From 2009 to 2019, she served as a member of the European Parliament, where she worked on trade, foreign affairs, and technology policy. She is the author of “The Tech Coup.”
