Ilia Donskikh

Since 2022, Ilia Donskikh has been an audience analyst for the Product Team, focusing on interpreting data to optimize user engagement and drive the growth of membership and crowdfunding campaigns. Originally based in Russia, Ilia joined OCCRP in 2017 as the Russian-language website editor. In that role, he oversaw making complex investigations and multimedia projects accessible to readers throughout Central Asia and Eastern Europe. Ilia is now based in Paris, working in exile after the Russian government declared OCCRP an “undesirable organization” in early 2022.
