General Robinson Vera is the commander of the 92nd Brigade, a unit based in Venezuela’s restive borderlands with Colombia. In September 2018, Vera made the news when he and his family were allegedly ambushed by bandits while traveling along the Central Regional Highway, one of Venezuela’s main roads. T

he contractors registry showed that he owned shares in Cooperativa Jerusalén 24, which was founded in 2005. The company has won dozens of state contracts, including supplying fruit and vegetables to a public educational institution.
