The Global Editors Network (GEN) released a short list of 75 finalists for the Data Journalism Awards during Wednesday’s Big Data for Media Conference, hosted by Reuters Institute in London.

The international journalism competition, which is supported by Google and the Knight Foundation, honors outstanding data journalism.

The categories award the best data-driven investigations as well as data collection, analysis, and visualization projects at the team, individual, and website levels.

Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) Executive Director Paul Radu is a member of the 13-person jury who will decide the winners.

Radu is also co-creator of the Investigative Dashboard, and has won the Knight International Journalism Award, the Global Shining Light Award, the Tom Renner Investigative Reporters and Editors Award, and the Daniel Pearl Award for Outstanding International Investigative Reporting.

The winners of the Data Journalism Award will be named at the GEN Summit in Barcelona on June 12.
