The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project is excited to announce its new podcast, “Dirty Deeds: Tales of Global Crime & Corruption,” featuring inside stories of how the powerful, unscrupulous, and well-connected can acquire unimaginable wealth — and of what it takes to expose them.
First person accounts from OCCRP’s investigative reporters will take listeners around the globe from the oil fields of Venezuela to the rosewood forests of Namibia to the steppes of Central Asia. Each episode also includes special guests who provide expert insights into the topics being discussed.
In the first episode of Dirty Deeds, OCCRP Editor-in-Chief Miranda Patrucic and Senior Editor Ilya Lozovsky take you behind the scenes of their investigation into how Azerbaijan’s ruling Aliyev family acquired almost $700 million in prime London properties. Patrucic and Lozovsky also talk about their unique working relationship and the dangers of being an investigative journalist.
