The general secretary and the finance director of the state football association in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Munib Ušanović and Miondrag Kureš, are on trial for mishandling or misspending more than 2 million KM in back taxes. The 94-page indictment against them claims the association under their leadership failed to pay federation and state taxes from 2001 through part of 2006.

During that time, the indictment says, the association paid out more than 450,000 KMs, some to Usanovic and Kures without any accounting for the expenditures. Usanovic received a 30,000 KM no-interest loan in 2001 to build a three-story house in downtown Sarajevo.
